Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Cheddar Brat Poppers

Bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Jalapeño & scallion

INGREDIENT LIST

The Sausage Bacon Cups:

2 links jc brat sliced into 1/2” slices

8 slices thick cut bacon cut in half

The Filling:

Filling

4 oz cream cheese

1/2 cup cheddar cheese (Plus a little extra for topping)

1/4 cup sliced scallion

1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapeño

14-18 thin slices Jalapeño ( for garnish)

DIRECTIONS

The Sausage Bacon Cups:

Pre heat oven to 375

Wrap bacon around sausage slice and skewer with toothpick 

Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes or until just crispy

Remove from oven and let cool

The Filling:

Soften cream cheese 

Combined all ingredients and mix to incorporate 

Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper

The Assembling & Serving:

Fill the cooled Bacon Jalapeño CheddarBrat cups with filling to the top of bacon

Top with more cheddar and bake in oven for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.

Transfer to serving plate and garnish with Jalapeño slice. 

Serve immediately and enjoy.
